Terms of Service

Effective: May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of feedcaddy.com (the “Site”) and any orders you place with FeedCaddy. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About us

FeedCaddy is operated by a Canadian company registered in Alberta. We manufacture and sell feed spreaders for poultry operations through a network of authorized dealers and direct online sales.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order or apply to be a dealer.

3. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order through the Site is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion, including if a product is out of stock, mispriced, or if we suspect fraud. Your order is not accepted until we send a confirmation email.

4. Pricing, taxes, and currency

  • All prices on the Site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
  • We collect Goods and Services Tax (GST) on orders shipping within Canada at the rate prescribed by the Canada Revenue Agency, with HST applied in HST-participating provinces where applicable.
  • Orders shipping outside Canada are sold tax-exclusive on our end. Any duties, import taxes, or sales taxes are the responsibility of the buyer or the receiving dealer.

5. Payment

We accept payment by credit card (via Stripe) or by bank transfer / EFT. Bank transfer orders are reserved for up to 5 business days; products do not ship until funds clear.

6. Shipping

See our Shipping & Returns page for shipping methods, lead times, and damage claims.

7. Returns and refunds

See our Shipping & Returns page. Refunds, when granted, are credited back to the original method of payment.

8. Dealer program

Becoming an authorized dealer requires a separate Dealer Agreement that supersedes these Terms with respect to dealer relationships. Submitting a dealer application does not create a dealership; we may accept or decline applications at our discretion.

9. Intellectual property

The FeedCaddy name, logo, product designs, photographs, and all Site content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Warranty

Each FeedCaddy product is covered by our published manufacturer warranty in effect at the time of purchase. The warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for product defects. Except as required by law, we make no other warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedCaddy’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to your right under applicable consumer-protection laws to bring a claim in the jurisdiction where you live.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order.
