The Real Cost

Every starve-out
is a dead bird.

Sparse feed lines kill more chicks than disease in week one. The corner birds never reach the line. The aggressive birds eat first. The shy ones starve quietly while you're already onto the next chore.

We built the Feed Caddy because we got tired of watching it happen.

1-3% mortality in week 1

200-600 chicks gone before they even started.

10-20% feed waste

Spilled, piled, walked into the bedding. Pure profit on the floor.

Hours per barn, every day

Time you don't have, on a job nobody wants to do twice.

Every bird counts

When every chick eats,
every flock thrives.

How it works

From hopper to happy flock in four steps.

No tech. No app. Just a slide gate, a wheel, and physics that gets feed to every bird.

01

Load it

Fill the quality steel hopper from the top. Up to 2204 lb of feed.

02

Hitch it

Quad, small tractor, or hand-pull for tight starter barns.

03

Drive it

Walking pace down the length of the barn. Feed flow is linked to ground speed.

04

Done

Consistent feed line, full length, every time. Every bird eats.

"

We cut feed waste by 17% in the first cycle. The Feed Caddy paid for itself before the second flock landed.

Questions

Things farms always ask.

A Feed Caddy is a pull-behind feed spreader for poultry barns. You load feed into the steel hopper, hitch it to a quad, small tractor, or pull it by hand, and drive at walking pace down the barn. A slide gate linked to ground speed lays down a consistent feed line so every bird eats — no app, no electronics, just physics.

Yes. All three models are sized to clear standard 8-foot barn doors. The Model 3630 is small enough for tight starter barns, and the 4642 / 6044 fit through any production-barn opening.

A 400cc+ quad handles the 3630 and 4642 with ease. The 6044 is best pulled by a small tractor due to its 2204 lb load capacity. The 3630 can also be hand-pulled for very small operations.

Quality steel construction means 15+ years of barn use under normal conditions. The slide gate seal and bearings are the only wear items, and they're easy to swap.

Most orders ship in 2-3 weeks from confirmation. Spring chick season fills up our schedule fast, so order early if you need delivery before placement day.

Yes. The slide gate adjusts for any feed type and bird age — chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, and game birds all benefit from a consistent, evenly spread feed line.

Yes. Our feed spreaders are manufactured in Manitoba, Canada (our company is registered in Alberta) and we ship across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Feed spreaders move by LTL freight; we quote freight to your address before invoicing.
